女单方面，山口茜今天迎战马林，交手记录7-9，两人自从2018年以来，共交手8次你来我往互有胜负，还没有谁取得过连胜的成绩；

值得一提的是，昨晚马林取胜戴资颖，赛后马林表示：“很幸运有母亲支持着我，她一直在喊着我的名字为我加油，感恩她始终在我的左右。”

而昨晚戴资颖在混采区被问及，是否本站是她的最后一届全英赛，她表示自己都还没有太认真想这些，眼前最重要的是打好奥运积分赛，争取一个好的排名。（此前戴资颖多次表示自己将在奥运之后退役）
